Easee Pay is a subscription-based payment service designed to streamline invoicing for larger charging sites, enabling direct billing to users who charge their vehicles at these locations. Each user must have the Easee app installed and create a personal Easee account to use Easee Pay. From the app, Users can manage their accounts, including payment methods and keys, among other features.
Basic Requirements
To charge and pay using Easee Pay, a user must:
- Have the Easee App installed on their device
Download the Easee app - Have an Easee account with your e-mail address and phone number
Create an Easee account
We recommend using a private e-mail address. You will get an email from Easee to verify your email address. - Have a valid payment method stored in the user account
- Have an RFID keytag linked to the Easee account
Add a tag to your Easee account - Be a registered user at the site
How Easee Pay works for the user
To initiate a charging session, simply connect the charging cable to your vehicle and activate the session by tapping the keytag against the Easee charger.
The method that prices are determined for your charging consumption is set by the site owner. Two options are available: spot price and fixed price. The invoiced amount will include the designated price set by the owner, along with the applicable Easee Pay fee.
You can add multiple keytags to an Easee account, allowing you to use different tags for separating payment use. For instance one tag for each driver, or one tag for each car.
