Creating a New Site with Bluetooth

Exceptional Information Warning Bluetooth installation method will replace the web interface (WiFi hotspot) when installing units with firmware ver. 316 or higher.

Creating a site is as simple using Bluetooth as it is when using NFC.

Exceptional Information Flag Icon.svgIt is possible to add to a site that already exists. If you do not have access to the site before working with the chargers, you will need to use a PIN to connect to each charger. Skip to Entering Site Structure below.

The primary difference with a Bluetooth site creation is that the Chargeberry must be inserted in the backplate and turned on. The NFC site creation requires that the backplate is configured before the Chargeberry is inserted in the backplate.

Exceptional Information Flag Icon.svgWe recommend NFC for Commercial/MDU installations (that is, more than three chargers), because Bluetooth requires an exclusive connection to each charger. Each configuration is fast, but when going one-by-one this can be time-consuming.
