What do I do when high temperatures shut down the charger?

If the charger is too hot, it will shut down. The LEDs will all flash red, and you cannot charge.

Sometimes this happens when the terminals have been damaged. Before we can determine whether we can unlock the charger, we need to check if any of the components have been damaged by overheating.

Pictures are necessary for support to troubleshoot your charger. It will speed the process to have photos ready when you first contact support.

As a customer, you can safely take the pictures yourself as long as you follow the procedure outlined below.

Taking Pictures

Exceptional Information Warning Please ensure you turn off the fuse to the charger before you complete this process.

We do have a short video that can help you with the instructions on how to do this. This is for a replacement Chargeberry; however, you will need to follow the steps up until removing the Chargeberry from the backplate. This will provide you access to take the photos required.
