The charger settings are located on the Charger card in the Easee app.
When you press charger settings, you see the Settings card.
It is divided into two main sections. In the General section are operational settings. In the Appearance section are settings that are mostly about appearance in the app, but also includes the brightness of the LED strip.
Details
General section
- Charging Robot — Activate or Deactivate your charger. When deactivated, the charger is will not charge. This is a great feature for times when you are leaving your home for a long time, or if you want to temporarily disable your charger.
Deactivating your charger is not the same as turning off power.
When you press to deactivate the charger, you will get a pop-up to confirm your choice. Press Yes to confirm. - About — This displays the serial number of the charger. Press to open the About card which shows more technical information about the unit.
- WiFi — The WiFi network your charger is connected to. Press to change the WiFi the charger is connected to, or to disconnect from WiFi completely.
When the charger is connected to WiFi, the charger will get firmware updates more quickly, and the response time will be faster.
- Phase mode — displays the current phase, either 1-phase or 3-phase. If your site has three phases and your car supports three phase charging, you can press Phase mode to change to 1-Phase, Automatic, or 3-Phase charging.
- Max charger current — displays the current maximum amperage. Press to open the Max charger current card. From there press Edit to change the maximum charging amps.
- Commands — Press Commands to run the Restart charger or Remove charger commands.
Appearance section
- Charger name — The name of the charger. You can change charger names to whatever you want. This is a great feature if you have multiple chargers.
- Front cover — Change the color of the front cover displayed in the Easee app and Easee portal.
- Charging wave — Change the color of the charging wave displayed in the Easee app.
- LED brightness — Adjust the brightness of your charger’s front LED strip.
If you are unable to see your LED strip, check this setting to make sure the brightness has not been set too low.
