If you are the site owner, whether it is a single residence or a large commercial site, you can use the Easee app adjust the maximum current the charger will use.
We recommend adjusting the maximum current by charger, rather than for an entire site.
The Max Charger urrent cannot be higher than the circuit fuse value. The circuit fuse value was set by the electrician during the installation based on their risk analyses.
Edit the Charger Settings
- From the Easee app, open a charger on your site.
- Press Charger settings.
The settings screen displays. - Press Max charger current.
The Charger limit displays. - In the top right corner, press Edit.
- Scroll through the values, either as Amps or as a percentage of the available kW, and select your max current.
- In the top right corner, press Save.
When the screen shows the settings again, the new Max charger current value has been stored.
Edit the Site Settings
- From the Easee app, open a charger on your site.
- Press the down arrow in the top right corner, or swipe the charger card down.
The Site information is displayed. - Press Site settings.
The Site settings are displayed. - Scroll down to the Power section. Press Circuit limits.
The Circuit limits are displayed. - In the top right corner, press Edit.
Scroll to change the Max current (the value on the right side of the screen).
This can be viewed as either Amperage or percent of total power. - In the top right corner, press Save.
When the screen shows the settings again, the new Max charger current value has been stored.
If you are the registered installer of the site and belong to a company account, you can adjust the circuit fuse rating at any time.
