Understand and check values
Differences are often caused by the report type, time period or synchronisation timing.
The session report and energy overview use different data logic
The session report assigns a completed charging session to its end time. The energy overview shows hourly aggregated measurements and may therefore already include part of an ongoing session.
Check the report type
Only compare reports that answer the same question. The session report, detailed report and energy overview may show different values.
Check the time period
Check that the selected time period includes all relevant charging sessions.Example: A session from 31 October at 23:00 to 1 November at 07:00 is assigned to November in the session report.
Allow time for synchronisation
If the charger was offline, completed sessions may only appear in the reports after the charger reconnects.
Compare the data sources
Only compare Easee reports and external electricity meters for the same time period and charger. Different metering systems may produce slightly different values.
Typical difference
- Small differences between report types
- Sessions are assigned based on their end time
- Ongoing sessions may already appear in the energy overview
Further checks required
- Larger or unexplained differences
- Sessions still missing after synchronisation is complete
- Values from the wrong site, time period or report
