Overview
Learn where to find consumption data, which report is right for your use case, and how to export consumption reports.
This article helps you get to the right view or report faster, whether you want to check your own consumption, analyze site data, manage charging prices, or better understand consumption values.
Where do you want to view your consumption?
First choose whether you want to check your personal consumption in the Easee App, or whether you need site, charger, and user reports in the Easee Portal.

Which report do you need?
Choose the report based on your goal, not by its technical name.
Selection tip
If you are unsure, start with the report that best matches your goal. Differences between session reports and the energy overview are explained in chapter 06.
For employer reimbursement
User overview
Total consumption per user. All registered RFID keys for a user are combined.
For the total consumption of a charger
Charger overview
All charging sessions for a charging unit in the selected period.
For individual charging sessions
Detailed reports
Detailed view of individual sessions, periods, and user references.
For RFID analysis
Easee Key overview
Analyze consumption by RFID key or Easee Key.
For current energy consumption
Energy overview
Hourly aggregated meter values and near-live energy analysis.
Manage charging price
Set the charging price in the Easee Portal when consumption values should be linked to costs or reimbursements.
Applies only to future charging sessions
Changes to the charging price only affect charging sessions started after the change.
Set charging price in Easee Control
Open the charging unit in Easee Control, go to Site consumption and save the price per kWh and VAT there.
1Open charging unit
In Easee Control, select the charging unit whose charging price should be adjusted.
2Open consumption view
Open the view Site consumption. The currently configured charging price is shown there.
3Open editing
Click Edit in the top right to edit the charging price and VAT.
4Save price
Dynamic electricity tariff & employer reimbursement
For dynamic tariffs, a variable price cannot be stored in reports. Agree on the calculation method with your employer in advance.
Export
Export consumption data from the relevant area in the Easee Portal. First choose the site or charging unit, then the report you need, and then the time period.
Select site
Sign in to the Easee Portal, open the relevant site, and select a charger. In the site view, you will find Site consumption.
Select and export report
Choose the right report type, time period, and format. Then start the export.
Understanding consumption values
Consumption values may look different depending on the report, time period, and metering logic. This section helps you understand the most important differences.
Session report vs. energy overview
Session reports are calculated after a charging session ends. The energy overview is based on hourly aggregated meter values. This can create differences depending on the selected period.
Consumption does not look right?
Use these checks if a consumption value is unclear or if reports differ from each other.
Check the following points one by one. This helps you see whether the difference is caused by report type, time period, synchronization, or a different data basis.
|
1
Check report typeSession report, energy overview, and detailed report can show different values because they do not use the same data logic.
How to interpret it: Choose
the report that fits your analysis.
|
2
Check time periodCheck whether the selected time period contains the charging sessions you want to analyze.
Example: A charging session
from 31 Oct. 23:00 to 1 Nov. 07:00 may appear
in the session report for November. In the October
energy overview, consumption from 23:00 to 23:59
may already be included.
|
|
3
Check synchronizationConsumption data is synchronized after completed charging sessions. If a charger was offline, data may appear later after reconnection.
How to interpret it: Wait for
synchronization and then check the report again.
|
4
Compare data basisOnly compare session report, energy overview, and external electricity meters in the right context.
How to interpret it: A measurement
deviation of around ±2% is possible.
|
Summary
Most differences are normal and can be explained by report type, time period, or data basis. You should only investigate differences that remain unclear after these checks.
