You can charge your car even when the charger is offline. The charger may go offline if there’s a problem with the cloud, or it’s missing sufficient 4G or WiFi coverage. You can check if the cloud is down on status.easee.com
Charging the car offline
If you have limited your Easee Charger to certain users, or use a schedule to limit its use to certain hours, then any RFID key can be used to allow charging. It does not have to be already authenticated or known to the charger. It does not have to be within the scheduled charging hours. Connect the charging cable to your car and charger, then tap any RFID, such as a bankcard, to the charger, and it will start charging.
Unlocking the charging cable offline
If the charging cable is locked from the Easee App, you can access the cable lock through the WiFi Interface on the Charger.
There are separate instructions on accessing the WiFi interface.
