Chargers and sites access levels

There are different access levels a person has. User, administrator, and so on.

The chargers are each set to their own type of access levels as well:

  • Open to everyone
  • Open to users with an Easee account
  • Open only to approved users

Each level of access is made for expectations of both the site owner and the user.

Charger access is open to everyone:

  • Who can use it? Anyone.
  • When should this access level be used? At home sites, where the expected risk of someone "stealing" power is low.
  • How do I use the charger? Plug in the charger, no ID required.

Charger access is open to Easee account holders:

  • Who can use it? Everyone who identifies themselves with an Easee account.
  • When should this access level be used? At public sites.
  • How do I use the charger? Plug in and identify yourself with the Easee key or app.

Charger access is open to approved users:

  • Who can use it? Only those granted access to use the charger.
  • When should this access level be used? Apartment blocks, commercial buildings, private lots, etc.
  • How do I use the charger? Plug in and identify yourself with the Easee key or app.
