How do I find the charger's serial number?

Finding the serial number of a charger already added to your Easee App or Easee Control is easy.

In the Easee app

Go to Charger settings. The serial number is displayed on the About line.  Press the serial number for more information, including your charger's PIN.

In Easee Control

Open Easee.cloud, go to the Products tab. There you see a list of your Easee chargers and their serial numbers.

If your charger is not already in the Easee app or Easee Control

If you have not yet added your charger, there are 3 ways of finding your charger's serial number.

  • Remove the front cover on your charger to access the Chargeberry. The serial number is above the Type 2 plug.
  • The serial number and PIN are located on the back of your manual. Your installer may also place this on the inside of your fuse box door.
  • You can use Bluetooth to find your charger's serial number.

    Using the Easee App

    1. If the charger is not listed in your app, press Products, then Add, and select Charging Robot.
    2. Press the touch button on the charger for at least 5 seconds.

The LED will light blue and emit a small sound. If Bluetooth is already activated, the LED will turn white.

    3. Once the Bluetooth is found, a list of local chargers with Bluetooth will display.

Using direct Bluetooth

It is strongly recommended you use the Easee app rather than the operating system of your phone to find the charger via Bluetooth. Not all device operating systems search for Bluetooth connections in the same way, and often do not "see" the charger.

    1. Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.
    2. Press the touch button on the charger for at least 5 seconds.

    3. From your phone, scan for Bluetooth devices.
