Charging data is available in both the Easee App and Easee Control. In the App, review and filter available consumption by charger, user or Easee Key where available; use Easee Control for detailed site reports and downloadable files.

01What do you want to do?

02View charging consumption in the Easee App

Open Consumption and choose the filters, period and view that match your question.

01

Open Consumption

Open the required site and select Consumption.

02

Choose what to view

Use the available filters to view all products or select a charger. If RFID keys are in use, you can also filter by Easee Key or user. The options shown depend on your access and the site setup.

03

Choose the period and view

Switch between month and year, energy and cost, or chart and table view.

Your consumption view is ready

Check that the selected scope and period match what you need. When they do, no further action is required.

03View or export charging data

Use Easee Control when you need site, charger, user, Easee Key or session data, or a downloadable report.

Report access required

Cannot see Consumption or create a report? Ask the Site Owner, Administrator or site manager to export the data you need.

01

Open the site

Sign in to Easee Control, open the required site and select Consumption.

Open Easee Control
02

Choose the report that matches your question

Decide whether you need a total or individual sessions, then use the table below to select the report.

User and Easee Key data

A user report can identify charging only when the session was linked to that user. An Easee Key identifies the key used; it does not automatically identify the person who charged. Charging that is not linked to a user or Key can still appear in site and charger totals.

Need charging data for your employer?

Confirm the required data, period and file format with your employer, then use the table above to choose the matching report. Easee reports do not determine whether an employer will accept the data.

Need cost values in a report?

Set a charging price for future charging sessions. Changing the price does not change past sessions.

03

Choose the period and export

Select the start and end dates. Print the report or export it as Excel, CSV or PDF.

04

Check the result

Confirm that the report covers the intended site, scope and period before sharing or using the file.

Your report is ready

You can now use the checked report or exported file for the task you selected.

04Why report totals can be different

First confirm that you selected the same site, scope and period. Session reports and Energy Summary can still show different totals because they organise the data differently.

Difference Session reports Energy Summary
Data basis Completed charging sessions. Hourly energy readings for the site.
Assignment Can organise data by user, charger or Easee Key. Shows site-level energy without user or Easee Key assignment.
Period A complete session is included in the period in which it ended. Records energy within the selected period and can include an ongoing session.

05Something is missing or looks wrong

Start with the problem that matches what you see.

A charging session is missing

01

Check the report, period and filters

Use the report that matches the data you need. Confirm the site, date range and any charger, user or Easee Key filter.

Cannot access the required report? Ask the Site Owner, Administrator or site manager to check it for you.

02

Check whether the session has ended

A session that is still in progress will not yet appear in a completed-session report. Check the report again after the session has ended.

03

Check where the session appears

Missing from a user or Easee Key report? Check the corresponding charger or session report. A session shown there but not under the user or Key points to an assignment issue rather than missing site consumption.

04

Check the charger connection

An offline charger cannot send new data to the cloud. Restore the connection, then check the report again.

Troubleshoot an offline charger

The session is visible

When it appears in the expected report with the correct scope and period, no further action is required.

The consumption value looks wrong

01

Match the scope

Compare the same site, charger, user or Easee Key. Check that the same filters are applied.

02

Match the period

Use the same start and end dates in both views or reports.

03

Check the type of data

Session reports and Energy Summary organise energy differently and are not directly interchangeable. Use the comparison above to confirm whether this explains the difference.

04

Check whether only the cost is different

When the energy value is correct but the cost is not, review the charging price used for the report. A price change does not update past sessions.

Check the charging price

Comparing with an external meter?

Confirm that both values cover the same charger or chargers and the same period. Different measurement points can include different loads, so the values may not be directly equivalent.

The difference is explained

When the scope, period or type of data accounts for the difference, use the report that matches your original question.

Still unexplained?

Still missing or unexplained?

Contact Easee Technical Support and include:

  • charger serial number
  • site name or a site identifier you already know
  • approximate date and time of the affected charging event, including the time zone where relevant
  • report or view used and the selected period
  • a short description of what is missing or different

For a value difference, include both values and where each one appears. Include the Easee Key identifier only when the issue concerns Key assignment. A cropped screenshot or affected row is usually more useful than a complete report containing unrelated users.
