Find the PIN code for your Easee charger
Learn when you need the PIN code and where to find it.
Every Easee charger has its own PIN. You may need it for specific setup or takeover steps, but it does not give your account access to the charger in the Easee App. If you are trying to get access, use the relevant guide below before searching for the PIN.
Before you look for the PIN
Already own the installation and need its PIN? Continue to find your PIN. If you need access to a charger, choose your situation:
I bought or moved into a home with an Easee charger Start with the ownership transfer or takeover process.
If possible, ask the previous owner to transfer ownership of the installation to your Easee account.
If the previous owner is unavailable, follow the takeover guidance.
See how ownership is transferredI'm at an apartment building, workplace or shared site Charging access is managed by the site, so you normally do not need the PIN.
Access is managed by the Site Owner, Administrator or charging operator.

Find your PIN code
Only the account registered as Owner can view the PIN in the Easee App. If that is your account, follow the steps below. Otherwise, go straight to the other places to check.
Check the Easee App

01Open the charger settings
Select your charger in the Easee App, then tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.

02Select About
Under General, select About.

03Show the PIN code
Select the eye icon beside PIN code.

If you cannot find the PIN in the app
Check the installation documents
Check the installation or handover documents. The installer may have recorded the PIN or attached its sticker there.
Look for the sticker inside the fuse-box door
The sticker may be inside the door or with the installation documents. Do not remove protective panels or touch electrical components.
Ask the installer
The installer may have kept the PIN with the installation details, especially if the charger was installed recently.
Check the label on the charger
If the PIN is not available elsewhere, it is printed with the serial number on a label behind the removable outer front cover. Read the safety guidance below before accessing it.
Safety when checking the chargerThe outer front cover is separate from the electrical components behind it. Do not open electrical enclosures or touch electrical components. If you are unsure how to reach the label safely, stop and ask the installer. |

Still cannot find your PIN?
For a private installation you own, Easee can help after verifying ownership. Have the following details ready:
- Charger serial number — find the serial number
- Installation address and Easee account email
- Proof of ownership, such as the original invoice, purchase agreement or confirmation from the previous owner
Easee can disclose a missing PIN only after ownership has been verified. A request may be declined if the evidence is incomplete.
