Before troubleshooting

“Offline” means your charger is not currently connected to Easee Cloud. Choose the troubleshooting path that matches the LED status on your charger.

Also check status.easee.com, to see whether there is a current Easee Cloud service incident.

02

LED is lit, charger is offline

The charger has power. Now check the connection between the charger and Easee Cloud.

01

Check WiFi

The network must support 2.4 GHz and DHCP, with a signal strength of at least −75 dBm at the charger.

Connect the charger to WiFi
02

Test another network

Temporarily test with a smartphone hotspot. If the charger connects, the cause is likely within the local WiFi network.

03

Connect locally

If the charger is offline, connect via Bluetooth and enter the WiFi credentials directly on the charger.

Use Bluetooth

If the charger remains offline and cannot connect to any WiFi network, continue to section 04.

LED strip is completely off

A completely dark LED strip may indicate an interrupted power supply. Follow the path that matches the situation.

First rule out a general power outage. Check whether other devices in the building also have no power or whether a local outage has been reported. If there is no general power outage, follow the relevant path below.

Power lost during charging: 60-minute restart
  1. Switch the charger's circuit breaker off if it is on.
  2. Disconnect the charging cable from both the vehicle and the charger.
  3. Leave the circuit breaker off for at least 60 minutes.
  4. Then switch the circuit breaker back on once.
  5. Check the LED status and the status in the Easee App.
  6. If the charger does not start, switch the circuit breaker off again and contact Easee Support.
