Which situation applies to you?

Open the matching path. Access is handled differently for a new installation, a charger transferred with a home, and a shared installation.

01 The charger was recently installedThe installer must complete the handover.
Use the email address given to the installer

Sign in with that Easee account, or create an account with the same email address.

  1. 01

    Check your invitations

Check the inbox and spam folder for the email address provided to the installer. Open every site or charger invitation you received for this installation.

  2. 02

    Accept the handover

Accept the invitations with the Easee account that should become the site owner. If more than one invitation was sent, accept all of them.

  3. 03

    Check the Home screen

Open the Easee App and check whether the site and charger are now available.

You have access when

The site and charger appear on the Home screen in the Easee App.

If the invitation is missing or the installation does not appear

Confirm the email address with the installer and ask them to complete the handover. Also check that every invitation for the installation has been accepted.

If the installer is no longer available, contact Easee Support. Proof that you own or are authorised to manage the private installation may be required.

02 You moved into a home with an Easee chargerStart with an ownership transfer from the previous owner.
Use the transfer path first

The PIN is a fallback for an authorised owner of a private installation when a transfer is not possible.

  1. 01

Ask the previous owner to transfer the site

The previous owner can transfer ownership in the Easee App or Easee Control.

  2. 02

    Accept the transfer

Sign in or create an Easee account, then accept the transfer using the account that should become the site owner.

  3. 03

    Check the Home screen

Open the Easee App and check whether the site and charger are now available.

You have access when

The transferred site and charger appear on the Home screen in the Easee App.

If the previous owner cannot transfer the site

If you are authorised to take ownership of this private installation, select Add product from the Home screen. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the charger PIN.

Check the PIN card or installation documentation, or contact the installer. Do not remove electrical covers yourself. Easee Support requires proof of ownership if the PIN must be retrieved.

03 The charger is part of a shared installationHousing association, condominium or shared garage.
Do not use the private ownership or PIN process

Access is normally managed by the site owner, administrator, housing association or charging operator.

  1. 01

Contact the organisation that manages charging

Ask the site owner, administrator, housing association or charging operator how access is provided at this installation.

  2. 02

    Follow the site-specific process

You may receive an Easee invitation, be asked to add an Easee Key, or need to use a separate operator app.

  3. 03

    Confirm that access is active

Depending on the setup, the charger may appear after you accept an invitation or after the first charging session authenticated with your Easee Key. If an operator manages access, confirm it in the operator’s app.

You have access when

The responsible organisation’s access process is complete and you can authenticate or start charging as instructed.

If access is still missing

Return to the organisation or operator that manages the installation. Easee cannot grant access when a third-party operator controls the site.

Access and ownership are not the same

Access lets an Easee account view or use products according to its permissions.

Ownership lets the site owner manage the site, its products and who else can access them.
