Find the PIN code in the Easee app

If the charger already appears in your Easee app, you'll find the PIN code in the general settings.

Owner role required

You must be registered as the owner to view the PIN code in the Easee app. Learn more about user roles and permissions.

01

Open the charger settings

Open the charger card and select the settings icon.

02

Open "About"

Under "General", select "About".

03

Show the PIN code

Select the eye icon next to the PIN code.

02

Check the PIN sticker

Check the charger if the PIN code isn't available in the app.

Every charger has a sticker with the PIN code on the front of the Chargeberry .

To reach the sticker, remove only the charger's outer front cover. Do not open or touch any electrical components. Your installer may have removed the sticker and attached it in the manual or in the fuse box . Ask them where the PIN code is.

The installer is often still registered for the site and may be able to retrieve the PIN code in the Installer app.

03

Ask your installer

If the app and the PIN sticker don't help, ask your installer.

Contact your installer

If the installer is still registered for the site, they may be able to retrieve the PIN code in the Installer app.

04

If the PIN code is still missing

Choose the next step that matches your situation.

Which situation applies to you?

Second-hand charger

Taken over a used charger, or still considering a purchase?

Before you buy: Clarify the PIN code with the seller. Easee cannot guarantee that the PIN code can be provided later.

Already purchased: Try the options above first. If the PIN code is still missing, have your proof of purchase or ownership and the serial number ready for your support request.

Private installation

Request the PIN code from support

Easee Support can only provide the PIN code once proof of ownership has been verified.

Include the following details right away:

  • Charger serial number
  • Site address and the email address of the Easee account
  • Proof of ownership, for example a confirmation from the previous owner, an invoice or a purchase agreement

Shared installation

Contact the site management

If the charger is in an apartment building, housing association or shared garage, do not try to take over the private owner role using the PIN code.

Get in touch with:

  • The site owner or administrator
  • The property manager or housing association
  • The charging provider or operator

They grant access through an Easee invitation or a separate operator app.
