Can you already open your charger from the site or your favourites in the Easee App? Then it's already available, and you don't need to add it again. Otherwise, we'll show you how to get access.

01I have an invitation

  1. Open the invitation on the phone or tablet where you use the Easee App.
  2. Sign in to the Easee account linked to the email address that received the invitation. If you have not created that account yet, create it first.
  3. Select Accept, then follow any instructions shown in the App.

What happens after you accept?

The App may ask you to select your favourite chargers. Choose the ones you want to access quickly. As a Site Administrator, your selection does not limit your access to other chargers at the site.

If the App says your chargers will appear after you start charging, you need to complete an authorised charging session yourself using the charging method provided for your site. The charger you use will then appear in your App overview.

Direct charger invitation

Accept it with the invited account, then check the App for the charger. The site-specific steps above apply only if the App shows them.

Invitation missing or expired?

Check your spam folder. If you cannot find the invitation or it has expired, ask the person managing your charger or site to confirm your email address and send a new one.

If you accepted the invitation but still cannot find the charger, continue to My charger is missing from the App.

02I don’t have an invitation

My charger has just been installed at home

Ask your installer how they will give you access. They may send an invitation or use another setup process.

Add the charger with its serial number and PIN only if your installer or Easee Technical Support tells you to, for example after a charger replacement. See Adding a Charger in the App.

I’ve moved into a home with an existing charger

If the installation now belongs to you, ask the current Site Owner to arrange an ownership transfer. Knowing the charger’s PIN does not transfer ownership.

If a landlord or property manager still manages the installation, ask them for the access you need instead.

My charger is at a shared or managed installation

Ask the Site Administrator, building manager, Site Owner or charging operator how access is provided. Tell them whether you need to charge, see the charger in the Easee App or manage settings. These can require different permissions.

You may be given an Easee Key or an operator-specific charging method instead of App access. Follow the instructions for your site.

03My charger is missing from the App

  1. Check the account and site. Sign in with the account that received the invitation or previously had access. On Home, open the relevant site and check its products as well as your favourites.
  2. Complete any remaining App step. If prompted, select a favourite or start an authorised charging session using the method provided for the site. Then check the App again.
  3. Refresh the App. Charger still missing? Refresh the App or sign out and back in.
  4. Use Locate products if you already have access. Tap + on the App overview, select Locate products and search by charger serial number or site key. See Locate products.

The App says you do not have permission

You may see only the charger and its serial number. Ask the Site Owner, Site Administrator or operator to check your charging permissions. See charging access and user roles.

Contact Technical Support

Provide your account email address, charger serial number, error message and the steps you’ve already tried.

For shared-site access issues, contact the person or organisation managing your site instead.

Your App access is ready

You can now see and open your charger in the Easee App. There's no need to add it again.

Your charging and management options depend on your access permissions and the site's settings.
