To see and manage an Easee charger in the Easee App, your Easee account needs access to the charger or installation.

How you get access depends on your situation. Choose the option below that best matches how you're using the charger.

New to Easee and don't have an account yet? Create your Easee account first.

01Choose your situation

Select the option that best describes how you are using the charger.

02My charger was just installed

Get your new charger handed over by your installer.

Your installer creates the installation and sends the handover or invitation to the email address connected to your Easee account.

01

Check the email address

Sign in with the same email address that you gave the installer.

02

Wait for the installer to complete the handover

The handover or invitation must be sent to your Easee account email address.

03

Accept the invitation

Accept every site or charger invitation for the installation, then open the Easee App.

Open the invitation guide

Access is ready when

The site and charger appear on the Home screen in the Easee App.

If nothing arrives

Check your spam folder, confirm the email address with the installer and ask them to complete the handover. If the installer is no longer available, Easee Support may require proof that you own or are authorised to manage the private installation.

Contact Easee Support

03I want access to someone else’s charger

Ask the Owner or Administrator to give you access.

You do not need to take ownership of the installation. The Owner or Administrator can add your Easee account as a user.

01

Share your account email address

Give the Owner or Administrator the email address connected to your Easee account.

02

Ask them to add you

They choose the access level and send the invitation.

03

Accept the invitation

Accept it using the invited account, then open the Easee App.

Access is ready when

The charger or site appears in the Easee App for the invited account.

If access is still missing

Ask the Owner or Administrator to check the email address and resend the invitation. If a charging operator manages the access, contact that operator instead.

04I moved into a home with an Easee charger

Take over an existing private installation.

Charger access and ownership are different

If this is now your private installation, ownership of the installation should be transferred to your Easee account.

The previous owner can transfer the installation

Ask the previous owner to transfer ownership to your Easee account. This is the easiest way to take over an existing private installation.

Open the ownership transfer guide

The previous owner is not available

You may need the charger serial number and PIN code to verify and take over the installation. In the Easee App, select Add product and follow the ownership verification steps.

Find the PIN code for your Easee charger

Ownership is transferred when

The site and charger appear on the Home screen under your Easee account.

05I use a charger at a shared site

Access is managed by the organisation responsible for the charging site.

At an apartment building, workplace, parking facility or another shared installation, the Site Owner, Administrator or charging operator decides how users get access.

01

Find the responsible organisation

Contact the property manager, employer, Site Owner, Administrator or charging operator.

02

Ask how access works at this site

They will tell you which account, app or key to use.

03

Follow their access process

Complete their onboarding steps and test charging as instructed.

Do not use the charger PIN to take ownership

A shared charger should not be added to your account as a private charger.

Check how access works at shared installations

Access is ready when

You can start charging using the method provided by the responsible organisation. A charger managed by another operator may not appear in the Easee App.

If access is still missing

Return to the organisation or operator that manages the installation. Easee cannot grant or override access when a third party controls the site.
