📱 Effortless style — default from 16 June 2026
This article describes the Easee app in the Effortless style, which is the default for all new users from 16 June 2026. If you are still using the Classic style, see Easee App – Classic Style Navigation. You can switch between styles at any time under Preferences in the app.
The Easee app is a great tool for managing your Easee chargers. It works great with all Easee chargers as well as the Equalizer.
Once downloaded, you can create your user account.
The Home Screen
When you open the app, you land on the Home screen. This replaces the previous hamburger (≡) side menu and brings everything together in one place.
From the Home screen you can access:
- News — announcements and updates from Easee.
- Sites & devices — navigate to any of your charging sites and product cards.
- Profile — your personal account details.
- Preferences — app settings, including the option to switch between Effortless and Classic styles, and dark/light mode.
The bottom toolbar gives quick access to:
- RFID Keys — manage your Easee Keys.
- Accessories — view connected accessories.
- Support — contact support or find help articles.
- Add product — add a new charger or device to your account.
The Product Card
When you select a site and product from the Home screen, you see the product card. The image below explains each element of the product card:
- Home / back — navigate back to the Home screen.
- Collapse — swipe down or tap the chevron (∨) to collapse the product card into a circle. This reveals the Site Landing Page beneath.
- Connection status — shows WiFi or cellular connectivity.
- Charger settings — tap the cog wheel (⚙️) to open the Charger Settings.
- Start / pause charging — manually start or pause a charging session.
- Schedule — access the charging schedule.
- Charger image — shows a visual of your charger model.
- Cable / lock — status of the charging cable connection.
- Smart charge / solar — access smart charging and solar settings.
- Cable lock — lock or unlock the charging cable.
- Current — the current charging current (e.g. 18 A).
- Schedule indicator — shows any active schedule times.
The Site Landing Page
When you collapse the product card (swipe down or tap ∨), the charger shrinks to a circle and the Site Landing Page becomes visible. You can also reach it directly from the Home screen by selecting a site.
From the Site Landing Page you can:
- Tap the cog wheel (⚙️) at the top right to open Site Settings.
- Access the Consumption tile to view charging usage across all products on the site.
- See all product circles for the site at a glance. Tap any circle to expand it back into a full product card.
Consumption
Tap the Consumption tile on the Site Landing Page to open the Consumption view. By default it shows All products (site-wide consumption). Use the dropdown at the top to filter by a specific product. If RFID keys are in use, filter options allow you to view consumption per key.

Dark Mode
The Effortless style supports both light and dark themes. By default, the app follows your phone's system setting. You can change this manually under Preferences on the Home screen.
