Start here

Use the default setup first

Connect the car and check that charging starts. You do not need a schedule or the app to start a session. If only your household can reach the charger, keep the access level set to Open.

01

Connect and test charging

Confirm that normal charging works before changing any settings.

01

Connect the vehicle

Connect the car to the charger. If you use a detachable cable, make sure it is connected securely at both ends.

02

Make sure charging is allowed now

Check that the vehicle is ready to charge and that an existing vehicle schedule is not delaying the session.

03

Check whether charging starts

If charging starts, the basic setup is working. You do not need to create a schedule or start the session in the app.

If charging does not start

Authentication is requested: Continue with Add the charger to the Easee App, or use an Easee Key that has already been assigned to your account.

Charging still does not start or stops later: Follow Charging does not start or stops sporadically.

02

Add the charger to the Easee App

The app adds status, access and settings to the same basic setup.

01

Create or sign in to your Easee account

Use the account that should receive access to the charger or site. Create an Easee account.

02

Get access to the charger

The charger appears after access or ownership has been assigned to your account. Set up access.

03

Open the charger view

Check the current charging status before changing settings. Explore the Easee App.

03

Adjust only when needed

Keep the working default and change it only when your location or charging routine requires it.

If other people can reach the charger

Set the access level to Private. Charging must then be authenticated in the Easee App or with an assigned Easee Key. Compare access levels.

Shared or managed installation

Do not change the site access level unless you manage the installation. Access may be controlled by the site owner, administrator or operator.

Optional features

Ready for everyday charging

Once normal charging works and the correct Easee account has access, return to the app only when you need to adjust a setting.
